How to score good marks in IBPS Bank Exams Quant Section
Quantitative Aptitude is considered to be the toughest section in any bank exams. This section is considered to be the arch nemesis of almost every Banking Aspirant (if it is not the case with you, believe us, we are so happy for you).Quantitative section will have 40 questions for 50 marks. It means 1.25 marks for each question. Candidates who are good at the Math section can score good marks in the overall examination. The PO exam will begin in October while the Clerk exam will be conducted in the month of November-December 2016.

The 2016 Summer Olympics officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad and commonly known as Rio 2016, was a major international multi-sport event held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 August to 21 August 2016.

Urjit R. Patel – Reserve Bank of India’s New Governor
Union Finance Ministry notified that Urjit R. Patel, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) deputy governor, has been appointed as the new governor of Reserve Bank of India as Raghuram Rajan’s successor.
Urjit R. Patel is an Indian economist, consultant and banker, currently serving as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). As Deputy Governor of RBI, he looks aftermonetary policy, economic policy research, statistics and information management, deposit insurance, communication and Right to Information. On 20 August 2016, he was named as the governor of RBI to succeed Raghuram Rajan when the latter’s term expires in September 2016.

Gold Monetisation Scheme
The Gold Monetisation Scheme enables individuals (households) and institutions to deposit their gold holdings with the banks by earning interest. The deposit is treated as a term deposit in the form of gold. So one can deposit his gold lying idle in bank lockers by earning interest at the same time.
The scheme allows the depositors of gold to earn interest in their metal accounts and the jewellers to obtain loans in their metal account.
